I found this incredibly interesting and while the subject is not directly related to singing, it fits with something I’ve been thinking about for many years.

Prior to semi retiring as a software engineer and going back to school to study music, I was heavy into AI, neurologically plausible computational neural science to be more precise, built on topologically integrated object oriented databases.

What’s been MISSING in creating websites has been an ability to create object oriented sites that be designed, grow, and morph in intelligent ways rather than being continually put in a box.

I envision a Singing Website where when you arrive, you are greeted with intelligent conversation to discover what you need for the day, scales and exercises custom designed for you on the fly.

Last night I bought THE GRID – I don’t know if it will do even a fraction of what I’ve been hoping for, but it’s better than writing the entire thing myself. And, I’m excited to see what it will do.

They claim it will be the next big thing for website development and I’m not so sure.

But, I do know that I’ll be creating a new site for Singing Results using this technology – if nothing else just to play around with it and see what it does.

I think it’s really interesting and I’ll bet a lot of singing folks would also find it interesting. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes and invite you to check it out when it’s ready to go (claims to be on the market in the next few weeks).

Thanks for indulging this sharing about the fantasy…

Next message will be back to Singing as the month of May dives into creating an extensive library of training videos.
